Albert William "Bucky" Jentzsch, a proud U.S. Navy veteran and beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, at the age of 87 in Snohomish, Washington.
Born in Billings, Montana on February 25, 1937, Bucky was raised in Walla Walla, Washington, where he developed a lifelong love of sports, music, and family. His passion for life was evident in his many interests, from his devotion to the game of golf and his talent for making sauerkraut, to his joy in entertaining friends with his accordion playing.
Albert's journey took him to San Francisco during his time in the U.S. Navy, where he met his future wife, Jackie Boehner. The couple was married for 62 years, building a life together in the Seattle area while working in the insurance industry.
A dedicated father, Al took immense pride in coaching his three sons -Peter, John, and Chris- across a variety of sports. His love for family extended to his grandchildren, Jaden and Camille, whom he cherished deeply and took great joy in watching grow.
In addition to his wife, children, grandchildren, Al is survived by his stepsons Spencer and Jake, and daughter-in-law Carol from his son Pete's side of the family. Jake, who was a cherished member of the family, sadly passed away earlier.
Al will be remembered for his distinct personality, warmth, and the deep love he shared with all those who knew him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of his company.
