Carol Dawn Feyder Wooten

Carol Dawn Feyder Wooten, age 76, passed away peacefully August 05, 2024. Carol was born on August 16th, 1947, in Seattle, Washington to George and Dawn Feyder. She graduated from Rainier Beach High School in 1965 and went on to attend Western Washington State College where she met her husband, Terry Wooten. They were married in 1970. She enjoyed her work at the University of Washington Primate Center, as well as her many years as a paraeducator in the Everett School District. 

Carol treasured time with family, and delighted in the antics of her four grandchildren. She loved tent camping and being at the ocean. Carol had a passion for gardening and photography, and was always known to have a camera handy. She greatly enjoyed being outdoors and seeing the mountain views, especially Mt. Rainier, or “my mountain” as she would say. 

Carol is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her sister Denise (Dexter) Hankel; children Lee (Natalie) Wooten and Lisa (Damon) Clark; grandchildren Georgia & Owen Clark and Hudson & Piper Wooten; and nephew Zakery Hankel. 

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, August 31st at 1pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 215 Mukilteo Boulevard, Everett WA 98203.
