Keith Oliver Broers was born on September 26, 1951, to Cyrus and Dorothy Broers of Lake Stevens, WA. He is preceded in death by his parents Cyrus and Dorothy Broers, brother Rodger Broers, and nephew Gary Broers.  Keith graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1970. After graduation, Keith enlisted into the Navy and served for 7 years. Keith married Sharlene (Chuckie) Honcoop on March 21, 1975. They started off living in Machias, WA while Keith worked at Nepa Pallet in Snohomish WA. In 1976 Keith and Chuckie moved from Machias, WA to Everson, WA where Keith worked on Chuckie’s parent’s family dairy farm for many years. In 1980 Keith and Chuckie decided to start a family so they reached out to an adoption agency. They adopted their daughter Sara in August 1980 from Colombia, S.A. In 1985 Keith and Chuckie traveled to Colombia, S.A. to adopt their son Kevin. Keith and his family continued to live in Everson, WA until October of 1987 when Keith moved his family from Everson, WA to Monroe, WA. Keith started working on his Uncle Tony Broers’ berry farm until the end of 2002. In 2002 Keith and Chuckie moved from Monroe WA to Everett WA. Keith started working for Romac Industries in Sultan, WA in 2002. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2009. Keith retired in 2015 due to his battle with cancer. Keith battled cancer for 14 years. In 2019 Keith and Chuckie moved from Everett, WA to Snohomish WA. Keith passed away peacefully at his home on September 26th , 2024 (his 73rd birthday). Keith is survived by his wife Sharlene (Chuckie) Broers of Snohomish, his daughter Sara and son in law Joe Johnston, son Kevin Broers, grandchildren, Kiana, Madison, and Dominic and great granddaughter Sariyah, all of Everett, his sister Janet Broers, his sister Marcy Pierce and husband Tom of Marysville WA, and his sister Linda of Sultan WA. He was blessed with many nieces and nephews.
